Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with scheduling, training and daily operations, while maintaining loss prevention and a friendly store environment.

You will coach staff, enforce policies, handle customer inquiries, and participate in maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to cashiers and clerks.
• Schedule and oversee breaks; ensure compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain cash register supply levels and store cleanliness; support loss prevention.
