Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a team of cashiers and support store operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, supervise front-end activities, and help maintain register procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years cashiering experience, and leadership training. You will hire and train cashiers, schedule breaks, and assist with loss prevention while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with front-end operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service by directing cashiers and providing support.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies, and maintain restroom/parking area cleanliness.
• Maintain security visibility at exit doors and assist with loss prevention.
• Schedule breaks and ensure compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Support hiring and training of new cashiers and disciplinary actions when needed.
