Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. seeks a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure top-tier customer service, manage scheduling and breaks, and participate in hiring and training new cashiers, while maintaining cash handling accuracy and store cleanliness. The ideal candidate is 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years cashiering experience, and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of cashiering experience and leadership training.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers as a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment including register, calculator and scanner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as described.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and directing cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Hire and train new cashiers and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Oversee store sweeps, cash register supply levels, and restroom/parking lot cleanliness.
