Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team, deliver outstanding customer service, and model the store’s standards at the register and in the workspace. You will supervise cashiers, support loss-prevention, schedule breaks, assist in hiring/training, and ensure smooth daily operations while keeping customers satisfied.

Strong math, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and customer-focused role model.
• Able to operate front-end equipment and counts/calc skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Address customer issues at the register and assist with service.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and law.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions.
