Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a team of cashiers and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment. You will supervise daily register operations, assist with issues at the front end, and help train new cashiers while maintaining store standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and strong communication skills to act as a role model for staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or GED, with 1–2 years cashiering experience and leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to be a role model.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment and perform basic cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Schedule and oversee breaks, ensuring policy compliance.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and take disciplinary actions as needed.
