Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with daily store operations, and help maintain store cleanliness and security.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, a flexible schedule, and strong math and communication skills. Join a team focused on healthy living and member discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
• Proficient with front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong math and cash handling skills; able to read, write and count.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assign store sweeps and monitor cash register supplies and maintain cleanliness standards in restrooms and parking areas.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and disciplinary actions.
