Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to be a role model for others.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., and move carts up to 35 lbs., per safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, cash handling and math.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with front-end operations.
• Provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks at registers.
• Handle customer assistance issues at the register.
• Schedule store sweeps and monitor supply levels; maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Maintain security by monitoring exit doors and loss prevention.
• Oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements; assist hiring and training of new cashiers.
