Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced frontline team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist customers, and help keep the front end running smoothly.

Applicants must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or GED, have 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training, and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication, friendly demeanor and the ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with frontline operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by guiding cashiers and supporting clerks.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks in line with policy and state laws.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain front-end security, cleanliness and proper cash handling at the registers.
