Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced register area and mentor Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks. You will ensure top-notch customer service, manage schedule breaks, and support loss-prevention efforts in a dynamic store environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of cashiering with leadership training, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and strong communication skills for a positive, team-oriented atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training preferred.
• Must be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).
• Strong communication skills and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by guiding and supporting Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register and ensure smooth checkout operations.
• Schedule and oversee breaks, monitor supplies, and maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Oversee safety by monitoring exit doors and loss-prevention measures.
• Participate in hiring and training of new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
