Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise cashiers and Courtesy Clerks, coach and train new staff, and ensure efficient register operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency with cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and provide direction to ensure excellent service.
• Proactively visit registers and assist cashiers and courtesy clerks as needed.
• Assist in customer service issues at the register and resolve them promptly.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and apply disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain visibility of cash handling flow and ensure cleanliness at the front end.
