Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced front-end team and uphold outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with store operations, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of recent cashiering experience with leadership training preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Assign store sweeps, monitor cash register supplies and maintain restroom and parking lot cleanliness.
• Ensure security by monitoring exit doors and supporting loss prevention activities.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
