Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is hiring a Retail Associate to provide customer service, assist shoppers in locating and selecting merchandise, and process transactions at the POS.

You will greet customers, answer questions, maintain store cleanliness, and help with loading merchandise while following Lowe’s policies and safety standards. Prior cashier experience is preferred; benefits available for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; equivalent experience accepted
• Less than 1 year experience with computers and common retail tech
• 1 year retail cashier experience
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration if required by law

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service per Lowe's policies and programs
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise
• Operate cash register and process transactions according to guidelines
• Support security and safety compliance in store operations
• Assist in loading merchandise and helping at checkout
