Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is recruiting for an in-store associate to deliver exceptional customer service, process sales, and support front-end operations. You will guide customers to products, demonstrate features, and handle loading and checkout tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role includes assisting with stock, price checks, and basic store safety while providing accurate transactions and supporting team members on busy shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Experience using common retail technology (smart phones, tablets).
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.
• Experience in head cashier or supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service and assists customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and demonstrates products.
• Tours store areas with customers and explains stock, benefits, and warranties.
• Coaches and trains associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Uses cash register for sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines.
• Monitors cash and reconciles daily totals and receipts.
• Inspects and bags merchandise and handles loading tickets.
• Ensures store safety, housekeeping, and security practices are followed.
• Operates store equipment as needed and supports line staffing.
