Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Less than 1 year experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• 1 year retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service following Lowe's policies and programs.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Respond to customer questions and guide them through projects in-store when needed.
• Communicate product and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.
• Operate cash register and process sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines.
• Assist in line vesting to speed checkout and manage register coverage.
• Prepare register area at shift start and end by checking devices and supplies.
• Ensure items are scanned, bagged, and tagged correctly.
• Look up product information and compare prices for price matching.
• Record store use items and complete daily cash reconciliation.
