Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Cashier/Associate to help customers find merchandise, demonstrate products, and handle transactions at the register. You will provide SMART service, load and load merchandise, and ensure accuracy in price checks and order tickets.

You will also support loss prevention, assist with opening/closing registers, and maintain store cleanliness and safety while following Lowe's policies and benefits as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Less than 1 year experience using a computer and retail tech.
• 1 year of retail cashier experience.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service following Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.
• Respond to questions and guide customers through projects in-store.
• Communicate product, stock, and warranty information to customers.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions and returns.
• Support loss prevention and maintain store safety and cleanliness.
