Acuity International is recruiting a Caregiver Supervisor to lead caregivers in government processing facilities. You will ensure compassionate daily care, supervise daily activities, and document services while coordinating with medical staff and interpreters.

This role requires trauma-informed caregiving knowledge, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and strong organizational skills to support dignity and safety for children and families.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in childcare, healthcare, social services, or related field.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed caregiving principles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers and manage schedules.
  • Provide attentive daily care prioritizing safety and dignity.
  • Assist with activities of daily living as appropriate.
  • Distribute supplies and monitor inventory.
  • Report medical concerns or distress immediately.
  • Provide trauma-informed emotional support to children.
  • Supervise children and families during daily activities.
  • Document caregiver activities and incidents accurately.
  • Maintain clean, sanitary living areas and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with government personnel and healthcare staff.
  • Respond to emergencies per safety and security protocols.
