Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required for effective communication with families.
• Trauma-informed caregiving principles are essential for interactions with children and families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to coordinate with staff and government personnel.
• Experience in supervising personnel and directing patient care teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers, manage schedules and shift changes.
• Deliver attentive, respectful daily care prioritizing safety, dignity and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene as appropriate.
• Distribute and monitor essential supplies and maintain accountability.
• Monitor well-being and report medical concerns or abuse promptly.
• Provide trauma-informed care and emotional support to distressed individuals.
• Supervise care within daily activities, movement, meals, and sleeping periods.
• Document caregiver activities and incidents accurately per policies.
• Maintain clean, sanitary living environments and organize spaces.
• Coordinate with government personnel, medical staff, interpreters, and transportation teams for continuity of care.
• Respond to emergencies following safety and security protocols.
