Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Caregiver Supervisor to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to families and unaccompanied children in government facilities. You will supervise Caregivers, ensure safety, dignity, and timely documentation.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years in childcare or related fields, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to obtain security clearances. This position involves rotating shifts and working in secure facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in childcare, healthcare, social services, or related human services field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed caregiving principles.
• Ability to lead and manage personnel in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of caregivers, managing schedules and shifts.
• Provide attentive, respectful daily care prioritizing safety and dignity.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene.
• Distribute supplies and maintain accountability.
• Monitor welfare and report medical concerns or distress.
• Document caregiver activities and incidents in accordance with policies.
