Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Caregiver Supervisor to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care for families and unaccompanied children within government processing facilities. You will ensure safety, dignity, and daily care while coordinating with government personnel and medical staff.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in related fields, and bilingual English/Spanish. You must pass a government background check and work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in childcare or related human services field.
• Prior experience in management of personnel, directing and decision-making.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers, schedules, and shift changes.
• Deliver attentive daily care prioritizing safety, dignity, and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene needs.
• Document caregiver activities and welfare checks per policies.
• Coordinate with government personnel, medical staff, interpreters, and other staff.
• Respond to emergencies following safety, medical, and security protocols.
• Maintain clean, sanitary living environments and inventory of supplies.
• Treat individuals with dignity and confidentiality; support 24-hour humanitarian operations.
