Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in childcare, healthcare, social services, education, behavioral health, residential care, emergency response, humanitarian assistance, or related field.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed caregiving principles.
• Ability to work compassionately with children and vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day performance of Caregivers, maintain schedules, and manage shift changes.
• Deliver attentive, respectful daily care prioritizing safety, dignity, and well-being.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene needs.
• Distribute meals and essential supplies while maintaining accountability.
• Monitor well-being and report medical concerns, abuse, neglect, or distress.
• Provide trauma-informed care and emotional support to distressed individuals.
• Supervise assignments and ensure confidentiality and privacy.
• Document caregiver activities and incidents per policies and contracts.
• Maintain sanitary living environments and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Coordinate with government personnel, medical staff, interpreters, and transportation teams.
• Respond to emergencies following safety and security protocols.
