Job summary

No Worries Care Tacoma is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to own caregiver onboarding and orientation. Based in our Tacoma office with weekly travel to Renton, you will lead orientations, ensure compliance, and hand ready-to-work caregivers to the scheduling team.

You will also support shift finalization, billing readiness, and payroll preparation, acting as a friendly first point of contact during the new hires’ first weeks.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in home care or healthcare administration.
• Ability to lead group orientations clearly and warmly.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers and software; experience with EVV or billing systems is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel weekly between Tacoma and Renton.

Responsibilities

• Lead caregiver orientations weekly in Tacoma and Renton.
• Facilitate the required online training and ensure completion.
• Receive new hires from recruiters and schedule them into the next orientation.
• Collect and track new-hire paperwork, background checks, TB tests, and certifications.
• Prepare orientation materials and rooms, and follow up on missing items.
• Be a friendly first point of contact for new caregivers during their first weeks.
• Review and finalize caregiver shifts each pay period.
• Verify client rates, authorizations, and EVV for Medicaid, VA, and private-pay clients.
• Resolve missed clock-ins and mismatches before billing and payroll.
• Serve as the alternate scheduler and fill open shifts.
