Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties is seeking an experienced Lead Caregiver & Office Coordinator. This is a flexible field and operations role that supports clients, caregivers, and the office team.

You may launch new clients, coach caregivers, complete quality visits, provide emergency coverage, assist with scheduling, and handle office tasks during staff shortages. A strong caregiver background and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State HCA or CNA credential.
• Strong hands-on caregiving experience.
• Ability to handle personal care, dementia care, mobility, and higher-care needs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort using technology for scheduling and documentation.
• Excellent reliability and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Help launch new client and support caregiver onboarding.
• Provide short-notice and emergency caregiving coverage.
• Coach and support caregivers in client homes.
• Conduct caregiver observations and reinforce care plans and safety.
• Assist with scheduling, caregiver coordination, and office tasks during absences.
• Participate in rotating after-hours and weekend on-call schedule.
• Document visits and follow-up needs.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff.
