Job summary

We Care Senior Care, Inc. is seeking a Lead Caregiver to deliver high-quality in-home care for seniors in the Madison, Wisconsin area. The role emphasizes initiating and supervising start-of-care activities and supporting clients and families with compassionate leadership.

The position requires flexible availability and prior caregiving experience, with a focus on safety, dignity, and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required.
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or CBRF is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete introductions with new clients.
• Cover shifts with new clients as needed while care team is built.
• Update care plans with new clients.
• Train and acclimate caregivers to new clients.
• Communicate with Client Care and office staff to ensure new client satisfaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care
• Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and assist with errands
• Support client safety, well-being, and report changes to the care team
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive conditions
• Build trusted relationships with clients and their families

Essential Qualifications

• Heart of an in-home caregiver and strong communication skills
• Experience in caregiving, assisted living, or CBRF a plus. CNA, home health aide, or resident assistant is required.
