Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to support physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular diseases in an invasive catheterization lab. You will perform scrub duties, monitor hemodynamics, document events in MacLab, and assist in preparing rooms for procedures.

Requires RCIS/RCES/CEPS or RT(R)CI within 2 years, BLS, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus at least 1 year of invasive cardiovascular technology experience.

Qualifications

• RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification required within the first 2 years of hire
• Current BLS required by AHA or ARC for Healthcare Providers

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal assistance
• Maintains ECG setup and rhythm monitoring
• Records hemodynamics and documents events in MacLab
• Prepares room with staff for safe, effective patient care
• Transports patients as needed and ensures equipment and supplies are ready
