Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular diseases in an invasive Cath Lab setting. The role supports staff and operates in a high-paced environment for diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and certifications RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI within 2 years of hire plus a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Must have RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI within 2 years of hire and maintain.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal assistance.
• Records hemodynamics and procedure events accurately in MacLab event log.
• Maintains ECG setup, rhythm monitoring, and hemodynamic setup.
• Prepares room with staff for safe, effective patient care.
• Ensures safety equipment checks and adequate supply inventory.
