Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive procedure setting. The role covers basic diagnostic catheterization and interventional procedures and acts as a staff resource.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 1 year of invasive cardiovascular tech experience, and RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI within 2 years, with BLS current and ACLS within 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in invasive cardiovascular technology or radiologic experience.
• Certification RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI within 2 years, ARRT and SCRQSA as applicable.
• Current BLS required; ACLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions and catheterizations with minimal assistance.
• Monitors procedures, documents events in MacLab event log and records hemodynamics.
• Prepares room and equipment, maintains safety checks and supplies.
• Transports patients and maintains ECG setup and monitoring.
