Job summary

MUHA is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular disease in an invasive cath lab setting. You will scrub for procedures, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure equipment readiness under supervision.

Qualified candidates have at least a bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience, with RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years of hire and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience.
• RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or RT(R)CI certification required within 2 years of hire; or graduation from radiologic technology program with RCIS/RCES/CCI or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions, left heart catheterization and right/left heart catheterization with minimal/no assistance.
• Performs scrub duties for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Assist in room setup and preparation for safe patient care; monitor procedure and document events.
