Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease in an invasive cath lab setting. The role supports staff and participates in diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Required are RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI or equivalent credentials within 2 years, BLS, and a bachelor’s degree or higher; one year of invasive cardiovascular tech experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• One year minimum experience; RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification within 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS required; RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI or equivalent certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions including left/right heart catheterization with minimal assistance.
• Performs scrub duties for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Setup and prepare room with equipment; monitor procedure and record hemodynamics.
• Maintain ECG setup and rhythm monitoring; ensure safety equipment checks and adequate supplies.
