Job summary

MUHA (Medical University Hospital Authority) is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist II to assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures, deliver scrub support, and monitor hemodynamics. The role requires specialized certification and hands-on experience in catheterization labs.

Ideal candidates hold RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI, BLS, and ACLS within 3 months of hire; a Bachelor's or equivalent in related fields is expected and prior radiologic or invasive cardiovascular training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification RCIS, RCES, CEPS or RT(R)CI required within 2 years of hire.
• Current BLS required; ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Educational background includes invasive cardiovascular technology or radiologic tech with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for cardiac interventions including left heart catheterization.
• Assists in peripheral diagnostics or interventions with minimal assistance.
• Prepares room and equipment to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Records hemodynamics and monitors procedure in MacLab event log.
• Maintains ECG setup and waveform monitoring.
