Job summary

Curaleaf in Tallahassee is seeking a Lead Store Associate to energize our retail team and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will guide a team, act as a brand ambassador, and ensure a welcoming, compliant, high-performing store environment.

You’ll open and close duties, verify IDs, manage inventory, and coach staff toward KPI achievement. Must be 21+, with POS experience and leadership in retail. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience using POS systems and cash handling.
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in store operations, including opening/closing; cash reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Coach associates to build relationships through personalized product recommendations.
• Drive consultative selling and product education on the floor.
• Promote loyalty through rewards enrollment and customer insights.
• Ensure compliant operations and accurate cash handling at checkout.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and uphold SOPs and safety protocols.
