Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Plattsburgh, NY to guide a retail team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will coach associates, perform opening/closing duties, verify IDs, manage inventory, and drive sales through consultative selling and loyalty programs.

Must be 21+ with a HS diploma; 1+ year in customer-facing roles, POS/cash handling, and leadership in retail. Open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of customer-facing or sales experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience in retail store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Drive consultative selling and upsell relevant products.
• Enroll guests in the rewards program and capture customer insights.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure smooth checkout operations.
• Open and close the store, including cash reconciliation and daily huddles.
