Job summary

Curaleaf in DuBois, PA is hiring a Lead Store Associate to drive exceptional customer experiences and lead a high-performing retail team. You will coach staff, deliver product education, and ensure compliant store operations.

The role requires 21+ age, 1+ year in customer-facing jobs, POS experience, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Starting pay is $18.50/hr with tips, full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in a customer-facing or sales role.
• At least 1 year using POS systems and cash handling.
• At least 6 months leadership experience in retail.
• 6 months experience in store operations including opening/closing and cash reconciliation.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Curaleaf Store Associate.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Familiarity with SOPs, safety protocols, and loss prevention.
• Attention to detail in cash handling and inventory.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a high-volume setting.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Multi-tasking and ability to pivot to other tasks.
• Comfort with technology and learning new tools.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to take initiative and support store leadership.
• Ability to work across all stations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute opening/closing duties, daily huddles, and cash reconciliation.
• Verify IDs and maintain POS profiles.
• Maintain inventory integrity and participate in counts/audits.
• Keep store clean and guest-ready at all times.
• Uphold SOPs and state regulations.
• Achieve daily KPI goals through sales and upselling.
• Stay informed on promotions and product updates.
• Lead and train new hires; provide coaching for performance.
