Job summary

Wolfoods Food Services is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for an on-site, live-in role at summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production, staff management, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The role requires 2+ years in kitchen leadership and ServSafe Allergens certification; this is a demanding 6-day/70-hour week with room and board provided for the season.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen and safety compliance; manage Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan protocols; maintain sanitation.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
