Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps across the US. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety.

This on-site, live-in position requires you to thrive in a fast-paced environment; be prepared for a demanding 6-day/70-hour week and live on-site in rustic camp facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, and ability to navigate I-Pad or similar devices.
• Physical ability to stand long hours, work in hot/cold kitchen settings, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsabilités

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee all prep and production for designated day part; ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan, etc.).
• Assist with inventory management and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
