Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. seeks an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US.

This on-site, live-in position oversees all prep and production for designated day parts, manages staff, and ensures allergen safety and sanitation in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. The role requires 2+ years in a kitchen leadership role, ServSafe Allergens certification, and the ability to work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, cooking, and problem-solving abilities; able to navigate iPad.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs; willing to live on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff, train teams, and maintain high-energy environment.
• Oversee prep, production, portion control, and timely meal service across day parts.
• Enforce allergen protocols and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
