Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage a team, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

This live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, with opportunities for growth in menu planning, inventory, and cross-camp leadership. Competitive pay includes a performance bonus and room & board for the contract term.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date (company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and handle a demanding 6‑day/70‑hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high energy and morale.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day parts and ensure timely meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and sanitation to Health Department standards.
• Assist with inventory management and daily reporting.
