Blank Street, Inc. is seeking a General Manager in New York, NY to own store operations, lead a hospitality-focused team, and drive quality and revenue. You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage inventory and scheduling, and uphold safety and service standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing and leading a single-store unit in hospitality or consumer brands.
• Full-time availability: 45 hours per week, 5 days, with weekend peak days.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor store team to deliver high quality service and ops standards.
• Cover scheduling gaps and publish staff schedules per labor laws.
• Manage timecards, leave requests, and payroll accuracy.
• Recruit top talent in collaboration with People Team.
• Oversee training quality and provide coaching to shift leads.
• Maintain coffee/food quality and consistent recipes.
• Own ordering, vendor relations, waste, inventory, and compliance.
• Lead by example 50-70% time behind the bar serving customers.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Drive revenue and store performance through initiatives.
