Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Lead Operating Engineer to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of MEP systems at an assigned facility. The role may involve supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with contractors as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related trade experience, knowledge of HVAC, energy management systems, and basic computing skills. On-site work and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related trade experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems at a commercial property.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• Possess basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain MEP systems in the building.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and coordinate activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections per manufacturers’ guidance.
