Cushman & Wakefield is looking for a Lead Operating Engineer in Falls Church, Virginia. This person will be responsible for the efficient operations and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the assigned facility, often working independently.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, strong technical proficiency, and the necessary licenses to operate systems safely. The compensation for this position ranges from $37.60 to $44.24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related trade experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Possess appropriate licenses/permits for trade as required.
• Basic Computing Skills, experience with HVAC and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper and efficient operations of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and monitor maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties and respond to emergencies.
