Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years’ experience in Residential Property Maintenance, with 3 years of supervisory experience in the last 5 years preferred
• A plumbing license is required
• C. 3rd Class Boiler Operator License
• Experience with Building Maintenance Systems (BMS)
• Must have CFC Universal
• Must have a low- and high-pressure boiler license
• High-school diploma or GED. Formal vocational/technical training in maintenance/mechanical/electrical work preferred
• Demonstrated working knowledge of engineering and building systems
• Driver’s license required
• Proven history of success in managing expenses effectively

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions from the team and residents, responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
• Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
• Ensure consistency, follow‑up, and follow‑through in dealing with residents on all matters
• Enforce policies of the community that are delegated by Community Manager
• Assists and completes work orders generated from resident requests for service, and routine upkeep on the community by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect and making repairs
