Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff across our multifamily communities. You will ensure timely service, curb appeal, and responsive resident support while coordinating with the Community Manager to meet property outcomes.

The role requires hands-on trades, on-call availability, and strong safety discipline; you’ll manage vendors, maintain records, and train staff to uphold Avanath standards and the highest level of resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• On-call and weekend work availability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents with respect and handling inquiries.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to work orders efficiently.
• Inspect grounds and building to identify hazards and plan repairs.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies within budget.
• Supervise maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring safety and quality.
• Maintain records of work orders, safety compliance, and inspections.
