Job summary

Smashburger in the United States is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, guide shift leaders, and elevate guest experiences while supporting the General Manager.

You’ll train staff, manage scheduling and costs, ensure food safety, and maintain high service standards. Requirements include 1–2 years of restaurant management, strong communication and organization, flexibility with hours, and completion of Smashburger training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to train and develop team members.
• Flexibility with nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of Smashburger training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage shift leaders and team members
• Foster a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and service standards
• Manage scheduling, labor costs, and team performance
• Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control (COGS)
• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing employee development
• Ensure accurate cash handling and operational compliance
• Assist with local marketing and store initiatives
