Endeavor Health is seeking a Supervisor, Biomedical Equipment Technician to lead a team of Biomedical Equipment Technicians at Elmhurst Hospital. The role focuses on day-to-day leadership, resource planning, and ensuring timely, high-quality clinical engineering services across our facilities.

The supervisor will mentor staff, coordinate maintenance and service requests, and provide technical guidance. A CBET certification and 5 years of relevant experience are preferred, with travel to various

Competenze

• Education: Associate's degree in biomedical or electronics technology (or equivalent).
• Licensure: Valid driver's license.
• Certification: Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) - Preferred.
• Experience: Typically 5 years in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of biomedical equipment.
• Abilities: Plan, allocate, and monitor technician and vendor resources; mentor junior technicians and interns; lead safety and customer-service rounding.

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians.
• Manage maintenance schedules and assign work orders based on workload and priorities.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic/therapeutic devices; install and test new devices.
• Ensure work complies with codes, guidelines, and policies; monitor quality and address performance concerns.
• Offer technical guidance, coaching, and development to staff and interns.
