Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field and 3 years of equipment servicing experience in hospital settings.
• Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) with 3 years of experience, or equivalent credentials.
• Associate degree in Biomedical Technology with 5 years of related hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibrate, maintain and monitor clinical equipment and systems.
• Perform preventive/corrective maintenance and document service events.
• Provide on-site and remote support, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain inventory and prepare reports on equipment status and repairs.
• Coordinate with IT to resolve device networking issues related to EMR/PACS.
