Storm4 is seeking a Proposal Manager to build and own the proposal function for battery energy storage projects. You will lead end-to-end bids, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate across Sales, PMO, and Engineering to deliver compelling offers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in proposals with utility-scale BESS experience, and a proven ability to manage complex RFPs above $50M. This is a fully remote role in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading proposals, bids, or estimating, incl. 4+ years on utility-scale BESS or similar projects.
• Led at least three utility/IPPs RFPs or firm offers above $50M with pricing ownership.
• Built or scaled a proposal function with processes, templates, and pricing tools.
• Advanced Excel pricing model skills: cost build-ups, margin, escalation, cash flow.
• Understand BESS components and project delivery.
• Familiar with EPC contracts, LTSAs, and related terms (LDs, warranties).
• Strong technical writing with clear proposal documents.
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams with senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Build the proposal function from scratch: operating model, stage gates, go/no-go criteria, KPI metrics.
• Own every bid end to end: ROMs, budgetary quotes, firm offers, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Create and maintain pricing models: equipment, BOS, freight, LTSA/M&O, risk reviews.
• Coordinate technical inputs: translate requirements for engineering and compliance docs.
• Develop proposal library: templates, boilerplate, win/loss tracking, CRM handoffs.
• Collaborate with Sales, PMO, Procurement, Engineering, and Counsel throughout bids.
