SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior BESS Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of battery energy storage systems on nationwide projects. The role is fully remote with travel as needed.

Responsibilities include guiding project teams, reviewing studies, and ensuring compliance with contracts, codes, and safety norms. PE license is preferred and strong leadership is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical engineering experience with focus on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• Extensive knowledge of BESS components: lithium‑ion batteries, inverters, BMS, grid interconnection.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, utility standards.
• PE license preferred; strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Serve as SME for BESS engineering scopes and provide technical direction to project teams.
• Lead and manage design and engineering of BESS projects, ensuring compliance with contracts and AHJ requirements.
• Review feasibility studies, site assessments, and system sizing analyses to optimize configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and project teams; stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Travel as required to support project execution.
