Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle seeks a senior avionics hardware engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering complex avionics hardware for flight vehicles. You will drive requirements definition, architecture concepts, detailed design, development, and test of flight and power management components and subsystems.

Ideal candidates have a BS in electrical/computer engineering or physics with 10+ years in complex hardware design, strong Altium skills, and experience with RF, power, and EMI

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering, physics, or related field.
15+ years proven experience in design, development, integration, test and operation of avionics or similar hardware systems.
Experience in RF, high-speed digital/analog, grounding and EMI considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary avionics hardware development teams.
Define requirements, model, design, fabricate, and test flight hardware and power management subsystems.
Develop electronic architecture concepts and perform detailed design and validation.
