Responsibilities

• Diagnose operating difficulties on a variety of vehicles and perform checks on engines and systems.
• Perform computerized and electronic diagnostic tests using specialized equipment and schematics.
• Conduct road tests before and after maintenance and repairs; annotate vehicle problems on work orders.
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning vehicles from road calls and identify faulty parts.
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics on difficult repairs and equipment usage.
• Observe safety practices and maintain records in accordance with regulations.
