Job summary

You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance while maintaining records and coordinating schedules.

The role requires diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems, using electronic diagnostic tools, and providing instruction to staff.

Qualifications

• Observe, test, analyze and isolate trouble sources in automotive systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to interpret trouble codes and data.
• Replace parts and adjust or rebuild systems as needed.
• Record information and complete repair-related forms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose operating difficulties on a variety of vehicles and perform checks on engines and major subsystems.
• Conduct road tests before and after maintenance and annotate problems on work orders.
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics on difficult repairs and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and assist in training personnel.
