Job summary

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automotive diagnosis/repair, four ASE certifications (A4, A5 plus two more), and 609 certification. Valid driver's license and background check are required; days, nights, holidays, and weekends availability is

Qualifications

• 3+ years of automotive diagnosis, problem solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4/A5 plus two from A1/A6/A7/A8/L1).
• Section 609 certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• High motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Background check completed before employment.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Mentor and assist fellow technicians; keep management informed.
• Learn new automotive techniques in formal training.
• Maintain an organized shop and follow safety rules.
